Is this legal?
Yes. Lizr connects your apps through servers in other countries — the same way millions of people use cloud services abroad every day. It is not hacking, not bypassing any device, and not illegal in any country we're aware of.
Why not just use a VPN?
A regular VPN sends all your traffic through one country — so your bank sees a foreign IP and blocks you, Zoom gets laggy, and YouTube slows down. Lizr only sends the blocked apps (like ChatGPT) through a different country. Your bank, Zoom, and YouTube still use your normal internet, untouched.
Will my bank notice anything unusual?
No. Your banking app, payment apps, and local services never leave your home internet. Lizr specifically keeps those direct so your bank sees the same connection it always has.
What if the app I need isn't in the list?
The Super plan lets you add any website or app yourself — just type the address and Lizr will route it for you. The free plan includes ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini out of the box.
Does it slow down my internet?
No. Only the specific apps you enable go through a different country. Everything else — video calls, Netflix, downloads — runs at your full normal speed.
Is Lizr secure?
Yes. Mobile connections use WireGuard — the same protocol used by NordVPN and ProtonVPN. Browser and desktop connections use TLS 1.2+. Your connection history is logged, but only you can access it. Lizr staff cannot view your activity.
