What Lizr does

Lizr is a selective proxy service that routes specific AI and research tool domains through regional gateways. It is not a VPN and does not route general internet traffic.

Data we collect

  • Account information: email address and hashed password, used to authenticate you.
  • Subscription status: your plan tier and entitlements, stored in our database.
  • Usage signals: aggregate counts of proxy requests per domain (no request content, no URLs, no response bodies).

Data we do NOT collect

  • The content of your requests or responses
  • Your browsing history outside matched AI/research domains
  • Your IP address beyond what is required for the proxy connection
  • Any personally identifiable information beyond your email

Chrome extension permissions

proxy
Configures Chrome to route matched AI domains through Lizr gateways.
storage
Stores your authentication token and settings locally on your device.
webRequest / webRequestAuthProvider
Injects proxy credentials into gateway connections only.
host_permissions (<all_urls>)
Required by Chrome for the proxy API to evaluate requests against the domain allowlist. No data is read from non-matched domains.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Traffic routed through gateways passes through servers operated by Lizr. Gateway servers are located in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
