I was tired of the choice.
Turn on the VPN, lose 30% speed on everything — dramas buffer, Zoom drops, banking breaks. Turn it off, ChatGPT is gone.
That's not a routing problem. That's a product problem. Nobody had built a managed tool that routes only what needs routing, leaves everything else alone, and works without writing a single config file.
So I built it.

Consumer VPNs (NordVPN, ExpressVPN) are simple but route everything — one tunnel, one exit, one country. Power tools like Shadowrocket route per domain but you source your own proxy, write your own rules, and troubleshoot when it breaks.
Nobody built a managed, consumer-grade, per-domain smart proxy. That's the exact gap Lizr sits in — and it's been empty long enough that I'm confident it's real.
